Homeless and
disabled young people need to have kindness, compassion and caring. Because
they never have them during their life and they don’t have any chance to
learn different cultures. We and our partners would prove this. We want our
partners to support and help them in public home. We will try to prove
with these partners’ cooperation. We and our partner will also try to give
them whatever they need and do with sport activities, travelling with
guests, sharing cultures and feelings. It would be also emotional. So, we
will provide integration among young people during the life long learning.
We will try to raise their awareness about other cultures and to make them
aware of their abilities and help them overcome their disadvantages. Thus,
they can improve their self confidence and realise their expectations about
future. The students in our club can do something for disadvantaged children
and they will take satisfaction for helping other people and also they have
the opportunity to take part in social work. Through this project, this
issue can get a lot of publicity and many of the people could be interested
in these children.
This Project
is aimed at showing traditional dances or sport activities like basketball
or theatrical performance or learning the entertainment of different
cultures and tasting traditional food of different cultures and orienteering
of Kerpe’s sea shore in Kandıra.
We’re from
Kocaeli Muammer Dereli Anatolian Teacher Training High School in Turkey. Our
partners are from Ojāra Vācieša Gaujienas vidusskola, Gaujiena Latvia and
Grup Scolar Industril Constructii-Montaj, Dej, Romania and Nautical
institute, Via Sirio, 10, Calabria, Italy .This Project will be
implemented by 52 young people aged 15-18 for each group and 6 leaders. The
Project will be implemented on 19.10.2009 and 24.10.2009.Our activities are
greeting our partners then meeting different friends in public home in our
country. Workshops with our partners with young homeless and talking about
traditional games or songs or sport activities and commission of duties.
Doing activies all together then visiting touristic and historical places
with partners.
